Thomas Gollwitzer (M. Eng.) has been an employee at the Institute for Energy Technology IfE GmbH since 2013 and has been division manager of “Energy Management and Innovation” since 2016. In this role, he is responsible for the technical development of new key topics and business areas in the field of sector coupling and digital services for energy planning. Thomas Gollwitzer studied renewable energies (B. Eng.) and environmental technology (M. Eng.) at the Technical University of Applied Sciences (OTH) Amberg-Weiden. His professional focus is on industrial and municipal energy management, energy and resource efficiency in drinking water and wastewater supply, (electric) mobility, and hydrogen economy. The spectrum of projects he covers with his team ranges from individual properties to urban and industrial districts to inter-municipal associations, e. g., in the form of climate protection or resource efficiency grids.
