Robert Gersdorf

Robert Gersdorf is a Market Policy Expert at the Berlin Capital Representation of the European Energy Exchange (EEX). After studying political science and business administration at Chemnitz University of Technology, he joined EEX in 2008 in the Political & Regulatory Affairs department. In 2014, he moved to Berlin to set up the EEX capital representative office. In addition to his role as a liaison person for political contacts, he has been dealing with the challenges of the energy transition for energy trading for years, in particular with questions of power market design and the market integration of renewable energies.
