Jan Emblemsvåg

Jan Emblemsvåg has since 2020 served as professor at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Ålesund. Since, 2004 he has held several top management positions in industry, including in companies such as Ulstein, Vard, Rolls-Royce Marine, and NOV and adjunct positions in academia, including BI and NTNU. He holds board positions and acts as consultant. He publishes regularly about energy, nuclear power, risk, and project management in books, journal papers, and also in non-academic outlets. He also holds numerous talks about these topics. He holds a master’s degree from Norges Tekniske Høyskole (the precursor to NTNU). He also holds a master’s degree and a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
