Dr. José M. González V. has been working in the field of information security at Stromnetz Hamburg GmbH since April 2015. In September 2020, he joined the network operation department. Here, he manages, coordinates, and develops the information security management system, with focus on the certified scopes for secure network and metering point operation. As an Information Security Officer, he was previously responsible for the scopes smart meter gateway administration and the sub certification authority. Prior to that, Dr. González worked for two and a half years as IT project manager in the field of power plants and network operators at Vattenfall Europe Information Services GmbH. During his five years at the OFFIS Institute for Computer Science, he received his doctorate in computer science in 2012 on reference models in the energy industry. After studying business information systems in 2004, Dr. González worked as IT consultant at Lufthansa Systems for a leading European energy company for four years.
